Time to RSVP for First Swim Meet!

Reminder that the first swim meet is next Tuesday (Jun 12th) at home against Sailview.  We have a very large swim team and the only way to ensure it runs smoothly (and we have a chance at getting to all the events) is if we know who will be there and who won't.

We need everyone to RSVP for every Tuesday meet no later than the Friday before the meet.  The system will lock the RSVP at midnight.  Coaches will assign each athlete to their strokes over the weekend.  We will send the info to the host team on Monday, print all the paperwork for the meet on Monday night and be ready to run a meet on Tuesday.  We will need the championship info sooner, but I'll send another email with instructions when that gets closer.

You can RSVP for every meet this season right now.  I recommend RSVP'ing for every event now.  If you need to, you can change your RSVP as many times as you want up until the Friday before the meet.  After that point, the RSVP function will lock on the website.  If something comes up after Friday, let your coach know, but it may be too late to change the lineups.

To RSVP, log in to the website (overlookhurricanes.swimtopia.com) in the upper right hand corner.  The log in info should be the same as last year, however, if you have problems, email me and I can have your password reset (it will send you an email with a link to set a new password).  Click on the Swim Meets tab.  Scroll down to the meet you want to RSVP for.  Click on the Meet Entry button next to that meet.  This screen will show your current RSVP status for each of your swimmers.  Click Edit to make changes.  Then change the status for each swimmer and click Save.  Don't forget the Save button!

If you have any special circumstances (like you are coming from somewhere else and will be late to the meet, etc), choose Attending if they will be at any part of the meet and send your coach an email and let them know the situation.  The coach can then make sure they are not signed up for the first couple events, etc.
