The Mecklenburg Swim Association swim team (MSA) will be offering free clinics at HFFA the last week of July/ first week of August. Please pass this along to however you feel may be interested.

• Space will be limited to the first 8 who sign up for each individual clinic.
• Clinics will be held in the 50-meter pool.
• To sign up you must email Coach Dan at [email protected] and get a response back saying they are registered for the clinic.
• All participants must have competed for their summer league team this summer. If there is extenuating circumstances please notify Dan and will be taken on a case by case basis.
• Each swimmer will have to pass a swimming test of comfortably swimming 25 yards freestyle and backstroke for each clinic.
• Topics below are what the focus will be, but depending on how the group as a whole moves along, it may vary.

The clinics being offered are:

Monday, July 30th Freestyle

Swimmers 6-8 years old 3:00-3:30

Swimmers 9 and older 4:00-5:00

Wednesday, August 1st Backstroke

Swimmers 9 and older 3:00-4:00

Swimmers 6-8 years old 4:30-5:00

Friday, August 3rd Breaststroke

Swimmers 6-8 years old 3:00-3:30

Swimmers 9 and older 4:00-5:00

Saturday, August 4th Butterfly

Swimmers 6-8 years old 8:00-8:30

Swimmers 9 and older 9:00-10:00

Coach Dan will be the coach for this Clinic! Coach Dan has nearly 30 years of coaching experience and has had successful swimmers at many levels of swimming; from beginner swimmer to having a swimmer place 17th at the YMCA National Swim Meet.
